Clement C. ""CC"" Harshbarger, age 100, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mr. Harshbarger lived most of his life on the coast and he was a life member and Past Commander of VFW Post 5931, Pass Christian. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in the European Theatre during WWII. He enjoyed gardening and telling stories. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ollie Harshbarger, and 3 brothers, Wirt, Tallis, and Russell Harshbarger. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Agnes Harshbarger, a son, Perry Harshbarger, 3 grandchidren, Perry, Jr., Aaron, and Keri Lynn Harshbarger, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Wednesday at Holy Family Parish, Menge Ave., Pass Christian where friends may visit from 10 - 11 am.
Interment will be in St. Joseph cemetery @ Rotten Bayou.
