Claudette Bradford

Claudette Marie Paige Bradford, age 75, passed away on May 29, 2017.
She was a resident of the Riceville Community and was a lifelong resident of Harrison County and was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lizana.
Mrs. Bradford was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Helena Paige; a brother, Lionel Paige; a brother-in-law, Sidney Schepens.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Vangie (Kevin) Raymond and Lisa Bradford; a son, Chuck (Sarah) Bradford; a sister, Gladys Schepens; 4 grandchildren, Lance Corporal Tyler Raymond, USMC, Brent Raymond, Cassady Bradford, and Cameron Bradford; a close family friend, Lacy Brooke Robinson who was like a granddaughter to her; She is also survived by her nieces, Donna Lynn Cooley and Stephanie Schepens; and nephews, Steven Schepens and Travis Paige; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bradford enjoyed her many years employed with the Gulf Coast Community Action Agency as a bus driver for the Lizana Head Start during the 70's and 80's. She also enjoyed cooking and visiting with all the customers who were mostly local residents while working at her daughter's business, The Burger House. She really enjoyed working with her wood crafts until her illness and back problems no longer allowed her to continue with her designs.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 10 - 11 am at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Lizana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church. Burial will be in Wolf River Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be sent to the American Lung Association.
