Mr. Clark G. Johnson, age 79, resident of Saucier, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011.
Mr. Johnson was a Shriner and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #374 Handsboro Chapter. He was also a member of Poplarhead United Methodist Church where he enjoyed the Mens' Bible Study group.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude I. and Ella Walker Johnson; brothers, Earl and Kermit Johnson; and his sisters, Eva Spears and Versie Peachart.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Carolyn McIntosh Johnson of Saucier; daughter, Carol Ann Coleman (and Mark) of Fulton, MS; sister, Vivian Moss of Laurel; brothers, Claude E. Johnson (and Betty) of Biloxi, Virgil Johnson (and Carlee) of Gulfport, and Noah Johnson of Saucier; and his grandchildren, Drew Coleman, Lauren Coleman, Braden Coleman, and Conner Coleman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Vernal Presbyterian Church, 455 McInnis-Vernal Road, Lucedale, at 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to visit at the church from 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at McInnis Family Cemetery.
