Clarence Saucier, Jr.

Clarence Joseph "Cottie" Saucier, Jr., age 72, of Biloxi, passed away on February 6, 2019, in the comfort of his home.
Cottie was a native of Biloxi and a graduate of Biloxi High School, Class of 1966.  He owned and operated a small business, Saucier's Janitorial Service, for over 45 years.
Mr. Saucier was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Joseph "Cotton" Saucier, Sr.; his mother, Helen Jane Andrews Saucer; and his brother, Ralph William Saucier.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Joan Price Saucier, of Biloxi; his sons, Clarence Joseph "Joel" Saucier, III (Aimee), of Pass Christian, and Casey Donavon Saucier, of Biloxi; his grandchildren, Gracie Clare Saucier, Parker Joseph Saucier, and Morgan Elizabeth Saucier, all of Pass Christian; his sister, Joanne Helen Saucier, of Morgantown, WV; his brother-in-law Glenn Thomas Price (Carol) of Saucier; and a host of other beloved nieces and nephews.
Cottie was a great husband, father, grandfather, friend, animal lover, great outdoorsman, and fisherman.  His infectious smile, kind heart, and gentle manner filled any room and easily overshadowed his 6'6" stature.  A true Biloxi native, he was raised on the Point and spent much of his youth at his grandmother's home on Deer Island.
Cottie and Joan recently celebrated 46 years of marriage and loving partnership.  He lived a joyous life, filled with love and laughter. He attended every game, recital, or awards ceremony for his grandchildren and spent as much time as possible on the waters of his beloved Gulf Coast.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, with a visitation for family and friends from 9:00 a.m. until the service.
