Clarence A. Neciase, age 78, of Pass Christian, passed away on February 12, 2010 in Pass Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alphonse and Estelle Necaise; two sisters, Annie Maude Cuevas and Willie Mae Seal; twelve brothers, Fonston Necaise, Jim Necaise, Ervin Necaise, Ivy Necaise, Bernie Necaise, Mavin Necaise, John Necaise, Jack Necaise, Cecil Necaise, Nelson Necaise, Raymond Necaise, and A.D. Necaise; and a son in law, Joe Lucco.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years and his primary caretaker for the past 4 years, Versie Necaise of Pass Christian; three children, Millie Lucco and Betty Deschamp(Joe McWilliams), both of Kiln, and Travis Necaise and his wife, Donna, of Pass Christian; two brothers, Donald Necaise and his wife, Delores, of Gulfport and Lonnie Necaise of Pass Christian; five grandchildren, Jeannie Wahl, Kendrick Ladner and his wife, Ladessa, Randy Shawn Deschamp and his wife, Amanda, Dustin Necaise (Amanda), and Stephanie Neciase; eleven great grandchildren, Gage and Jordan Herron, Jestan Wahl, DaRae, Daesha, Kassidy, and Kaden Ladner, Lakyn and Jillian Deschamp, and Shalyn and Luke Draime.
The family wishes to thank Odessey Hospice, especially Nancy, Kellie, Eula, Sharon, and Andrew for their care and attention to Mr. Necaise and Father Mike O'Conner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church for his long time support.
Mr. Necaise was a farmer and a lifelong resident of the Dedeaux community. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux. Burial will follow at Alphonse Malley Cemetery.
