Saucier

Clarence Lee Estes, born on March 21, 1944, departed this life on February 4, 2025. A dedicated family man and a respected member of his community, Clarence leaves behind a legacy of service and entrepreneurial spirit that will be cherished by all who knew him.

Clarence proudly served as a medical corpsman in the Army National Guard, where his commitment to helping others was evident. Following his military service, he established Estes Tire Company in 1985, a venture that flourished for 40 years under his leadership. His work ethic and dedication to quality not only made his business a success but also endeared him to the community, where he was known for his kindness and integrity.

He was of the Methodist faith, drawing strength and comfort from his beliefs. In addition to his professional life, Clarence had a passion for restoring classic cars, an interest that allowed him to combine his love for mechanics with the beauty of timeless automobiles. He greatly enjoyed reading, often immersing himself in a good book, which further exemplified his lifelong pursuit of knowledge and understanding.

Clarence is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Ann Estes; their son, Scott A. Estes and his wife Sheri; his siblings, Theresa Harper (William) and Glen Estes (Kay); and his cherished grandchildren, Andrew S. Estes, Braxton Meadows, and Kent Rhodes (Lilly). Each of these family members has been touched by Clarence’s wisdom and warmth.

He is predeceased by his parents, Clarence D. Estes and Flora Estes; and his son, Brad S. Estes. Their memory lives on in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him.
