Clare Marie Wallis

Clare Marie Wallis, age 86, of Biloxi, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2014.
Mrs. Wallis was born in Biloxi to Leo L. and Hazel Santa Cruz DeGeorge. She worked at Jay's Fabric as manager for 20 years along with being a fulltime mother and homemaker. She was a former member of the D'Iberville Bingo Club and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Woolmarket.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, James H. Wallis, Sr.; her parents; brothers, Russell DeGeorge and Robert DeGeorge.
She is survived by her children, James H. Wallis, Jr. (Lowanna) of Biloxi, Cheryl Wallis Robinson (Walter) of Woolmarket, Michael Anthony Wallis, Sr. (Linda) of D'Iberville; siblings, Thelma Bellman, Gilda Freeman, Myrna Wescovich, and Sandra Gollott, and Johnny DeGeorge; sister-in-law, Lydia Wallis Eriksen; grandchildren, Michelle Swanson, Jamie Tindell, Stephanie Roberts, Walter Robinson, Jamie Flowers, Michael Wallis, Jr., Jeffrey Panter, Justin Panter; great grandchildren, Jacob Swanson, Hunter Levan, Ty Robinson, Riley Kelley, Evan Kelley, Spenser Roberts, Brooks Wallis, Grace Wallis, Landon Panter, Carson Webb, and Cate Webb.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir, Biloxi, from 9:30-11am.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11am.
Entombment will follow at Southern Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Eva Magiros for her 34 years of care and also to nurse Monique with SAAD Healthcare.
