Clara Mae Steele Prestenbach

Born July 30, 1949 in Leonard, TX. Died April 26, 2022 in Necaise Crossing, MS surrounded by her loving family. Resident of Necaise Crossing for 46 years. Graduate of Pearl River Community College Class of 1986. LPN at Crosby Memorial Hospital for 21 years. Known by her family as Billie Mae. Preceded in Death by her parents Harry Steele and Billie Smith, her siblings Billy Chauncey Sr., Samuel Chauncey, Ethel Chauncey Dickson, Winifred Steele, Juanita Steele James. Survived by her sons Chester (Christine) Prestenbach Jr and Wayne (Dorothy) Prestenbach. Daughter in law Rhonda (Frank) Taylor. Her grandkids Shalane (Paul) Mayeux, Dalane (Leslie) Prestenbach, Anne Prestenbach, Sarah Prestenbach, Emily Prestenbach, and Earnest Fontenot. Her great grandkids James Shaneyfelt Jr, Selena Shaneyfelt, Harrison (Destiny) Moran II, and Alivia (Russell) Moran. Her great-great grandchild Felicity Moran. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11:00 am from Crane Creek Baptist Church, 30040 Crane Creek Road, Perkinston, MS and the visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time. Burial will follow in the Crane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
