Clara Hoda

Clara M. Hoda, age 87, of Kiln, passed away on July 30, 2008 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edison Hoda; her parents, Ola Ladner, Sr and Azelia Ladner; her daughter, Brenda Hoda; her brothers and sisters, Viola Cuevas, Leon Ladner, Leran Ladner, twin sister Cleo Zahn, Jimmy Ladner, Essie Jewel Ladner, Neville Ladner, and Ola Ladner, Jr.
She is survived by her son, Roger Keith Hoda, and his wife, Evelyn L. Hoda, of Kiln; her grandchildren, Crystal Hoda Madere and her husband, Michael, and Adrianna Hoda, all of Kiln; and her brothers and sisters, Clarence Ladner, Woodrow Ladner, Euna Mae Ladner, Carl Ladner, Leola Alexander, and Royce Ladner.
A devout Catholic, she was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, Kiln, where she worked for many years at the school. She also was a teacher at Headstart for many years.
The visitation will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 from 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a recitation of the Rosary at 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Kiln-Delisle Road, Pass Christian.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church, Kiln. Burial will follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
