TSgt Clair Newton Gruver, USAF, Ret., age 78, of Gulfport, passed away on June 27, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry P. Gruver; his mother, Eleanor Hinman Miles; and 3 brothers, Lynn Gruver, Boyd Gruver, and Richard Gruver.
He is survived by his children, Paul Gruver, DeAnna Conover (Robert), Dana Dobbs, and Dan Gruver (Shane); a sister, Lucinda Goodson; special friend, JoAngel Johnson (Jon); grandchildren, Brooke Pollard (Chris), Chris Rabby (Carly), Hannah Rabby, Trey Dobbs, Devyn Adams (Stephanie), Peyton Adams, Jeydan Gruver, and Ryan Harrison; 7 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. .
A graveside service will be at 9 am Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
