Christy Nicole Norman

Christy Nicole Norman, age 43 of Gulfport, MS made her way through Heaven’s gates on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.  Christy grew up in Jonesboro, La until she made Gulfport her home.  She married her beloved husband, Junior on May 31, 2002.  Christy lived her life fully and enjoyed spending time crafting, sewing and shooting photography.  She was a naturalist that could be found out riding her bicycle or in the kitchen cooking.  Christy was definitely a jack of all trades and a master of many.  Her absolute favorite place was to be was at the beach. 

Christy is survived by her husband, Earnest M. Norman, Jr.; children, Ashley Griffith, Allyson Norman; mother, Pamela Payne Kelly; mother in law, Belinda Norman, siblings, Rebecca Higginbotham, Shannon Davis, James Michael Davis and wife Stephanie; sisters in law, Pamela Hancock and husband Shadrick; Amanda Combs and wife Lashonda; 12 nieces and nephews; one grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, O.C. and Shirley Payne.
