Christopher Matthew Lee, age 38, of Gulfport left this world for a better place on Monday, August 6, 2018, at his Pop's home in Shivers, MS. Christopher was born in Biloxi on February 3, 1980.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert and Helen Lee of Shivers, and Reggie and Myrtle Sutton of New Hebron. They were waiting with Jesus to greet him.
Christopher is survived by his most proud accomplishment in life, his children, Sean and Loren Lee, whom he loved deeply. He leaves a grieving mother and dad, Marilyn and Ren Sefton; his Pop, Ronnie Lee; brothers, Michael Sefton (Lesley), Ryan Sefton (Natalie), Steve Sefton, and Ren Sefton; and one sister, Kimberly Roncal (Marcelo).Christopher will also be missed by his niece, Hailey Sefton; nephews, Brody, Nolan, and Luke Sefton; as well as uncles, aunts and cousins.
A mother loves all of her children equally. When one dies, it leaves a hole in her heart forever.
Christopher graduated from Harrison Central High School, where he was selected as an All-American Scholar. He attended college at MGCCC. He was an avid reader, writer, and loved to write poetry. He was published by McGreggor Hill and the National Library of Poetry. Christopher served in the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2005 and was very proud of his service for his country. Christopher's work experience varied from Tyson Foods to Northrop Grumman to food preparation, but his happiest time was being stationed at Dover AFB.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, MS, with a visitation for family and friends from 9:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport. Family and friends are invited afterwards to a reception at Nugent United Methodist Church on John Clark Road.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to Nugent United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
