Christopher Paul Davis, age 51, beloved son of William F. (and Martha) Davis, and Betty J. Munford; beloved brother of Max (and Cheryl) Davis, and stepbrother of David (and Kathy) Ferguson, and Julia (and Todd) Thomas. Mr. Davis was born May 12, 1959 in Mobile, AL. He left us too soon on June 25, 2010 in Gulfport, MS.
He was an accomplished construction worker, and also had been a tugboat deckhand, commercial fisherman, and disaster recovery worker.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Archie D. and Ollie B. Youngblood, and paternal grandparents, Albert C. and Minnie Lou Davis.
A Memorial Barbeque/Pot Luck Dinner will be held this Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the main pavilion of Lum Cumbest Park in Hurley, MS to celebrate the life of this free-spirited individual.
Funeral arrangements were handled by the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
