Christine Platts

Mrs. Christine A. Platts, née Nazaretian, age 98 of Biloxi, Mississippi, and longtime resident of Long Beach, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Born on December 15, 1926, she led a life well lived and well loved. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Howard F. Platts, Jr., affectionately known as “Shorty,” whom she now rejoins after nearly 40 years apart.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Lanier, Rebecca Shaw, and Mary Myers, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren — all of whom brought her immeasurable pride and joy.

She will be laid to rest on Good Friday, April 18, 2025, in a private family ceremony.
