Mrs. Christine Odom Gibbons, age 88, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008, in Gulfport.
Born in Thomastown, MS, to the late, Deese and Ella Melson Odom, Mrs. Gibbons, has resided on the Coast since 1950. She was the former owner of Chris' Lounge in Gulfport and was of the Baptist faith. She loved gardening, especially her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Rod Gibbons; parents; grandson, Donald Leslie; granddaughter, Cindy Leslie; and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her children, A.J. Leslie of Tupelo and his wife Claudette, Roy Leslie of Gulfport and his wife Diane, and Wanda Price of Long Beach and her husband Joe; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 9:30 until 11:30. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
