Chris Fox, age 63, resident of Biloxi, passed away on May 28, 2010, in her home.
Chris served in the military for 12 years during which she was based at Ft. Rucker, AL, as a Captain. Afterwards she spent 3-6 months as a travel nurse, where she fell in love with Southern traditions, customs, and people. She became a resident of MS in 1991. Chris not only survived cancer, but she also survived Hurricane Katrina on the beachfront and lived to tell her story.
She spent her days knitting one of a kind apparel and enjoying Biloxi sunsets.
She is survived by her two sons, Thomas Duval Moore, II (Debbie) of Washington, D.C., and Matthew Scott Moore (Jill) of Long Beach, CA; and grandchildren, Mia and TJ.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 14, 2010, at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
