Christine Chambliss, age 75, passed away Saturday, October 6, 2013 at her residence.
Mrs. Chambliss was a long-time member of Pass Road Baptist Church. The family would like to express their appreciation and thanks to Dr. Baroudi and the staff at the Coast Heart Institute, Dr. Davidson, Dr. Vance, the Medical Oncology Group and Dr. Franklin for their loving care and concern throughout the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Izetta Howard; and three sisters, Almeda Diggs, Leatha Winters and Imogene Lockhart;
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Hershel Chambliss; her 3 children, Gail Chambliss, Mike (Cindy) Chambliss and David (Angie) Chambliss; her grandchildren, Jake Chambliss, Taylor Chambliss, Mandy Chambliss and Abby Chambliss; and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. The funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
