Christa Stephan

On this date, December 31, 2018, Christa Ursula Stephan passed away of Pancreatic and Liver Cancer. She was born in Germany and came to this country to make a home with her husband, Herbert Stephan. She was one of the most talented women who was self-taught in every aspect of life. Christa spent hours sewing without any patterns and just her imagination. She had a passion for gardening and could make any flower come to life. There was not anything she was not capable of accomplishing when she set her mind to it. Her talents were amazing. From her hard life as a child in a concentration camp to the very end, she exceeded everyone's expectations. She was strong, loving, and at times, opinionated. She will be in our hearts forever. We were proud to call her mom.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert Stephan. She leaves behind her daughters, Christine Dupuy and Jutta Bordelon; sons, Michael Stephan and Chrissy Stephan; son-in-law, Dennis Bordelon; daughter-in-law, Vicki Stephan; sisters, Waltraud Wittorf and Inge Hermann; grandchildren, Dennis Bordelon, Jr., Branum Stephan, Avery Stephan, Mark Dupuy, Rebecca Cuevas, Brandon Dupuy, Gregg Dupuy, Brooke Randall, Cole Stephan and Harleigh Stephan; great-grandchildren, Trae Bordelon, Trevor Bordelon, Landen Bordelon, Adrianna Cuevas, Addison Cuevas, Brighton Dupuy, Brea Dupuy, Kaimbry Dupuy, Tatum Dupuy and Elle Dupuy.
