Cheryl Thibault

Cheryl Ann (Reiss) Thibault went home to be with the Lord on her 68th birthday, September 16, 2022 at VA Community Living Center in Biloxi, MS.

Cheryl was born September 16, 1954, in Highland Park, MI.  She graduated from East Detroit High School in 1972.  After graduation, she joined the United States Navy and served for 3 years on the Island of Bermuda.  While she was stationed in Bermuda, she met her husband, Lawrence J. Thibault III, who she was married to for 44 years until his death on March 17, 2022. She was never afraid to try anything or reach out to help others and made friends wherever she went.

She was the daughter of Daniel Reiss (died 1991) and Patricia Reiss (died 1996).

She leaves behind a sister, Penny Douglas of New Port Richey, FL; and a brother, Daniel Reiss of Warren, MI; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Even after she was diagnosed with MS many years ago, she never stopped caring for those around her.  Cheryl touched lives, no matter where she was.  She will be missed by many.

A procession will leave Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, at 1:45 PM, for a graveside service at 2:30 PM, at Biloxi National Cemetery.
