Cheri Davis

Cheri Ellen Davis, age 65, of Seattle, WA, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020.

Cheri has lived in Seattle for the past 15 years, but considered Pass Christian and the Gulf Coast home.  When she called, she would always ask about family members, some of whom she had not seen for years.  She had been retired for several years, but had previously worked in the documentary film industry and for many nonprofits.  She loved to travel, sample different coffees from all over the world, and read.  She walked everywhere, sometimes as much as 10 miles each day.  She was always interested in and championed diversity.

She was preceded in death by her father, Burt Alton Davis.

She is survived by her mother, Norma (Collins) Davis; her sister Rebecca (Tommy) Shoemake; her brother, Alton Burt (Alicia) Davis III; her niece, Aimee (Carl) Adair; her nephew, Nathan (Angie) Shoemake; great nephews, Tyler and Holt Adair; and great nieces, Addie and Gigi Shoemake.
