Chelsie McQueen

Chelsie Taylor McQueen, age 29, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. She loved her family and her friends with such passion. She was loved by everyone that knew her. Chelsie was the kind of person that could brighten any room with her smile and contagious spirit. She had a free spirit and was always adventurous. Her current adventure had taken her to Memphis with her dog Hendrix, where she enjoyed the music scene with her friends. She had just received a degree as a medical assistant and was working on her new career. No matter where her adventures took her, her home was here in Gulfport with her Dad and Mama June whom she loved unconditionally. She was a special person that touched many lives and was taken from this earth too soon. Her spirit will live on in those that knew and loved her.

She leaves behind her Father, Mark McQueen and wife, Elizabeth McQueen; Mother, Cheri McQueen; Grandparents, June Schloegel, Peggy Walters, Morgan and Donna Dowdy; Brothers, Austin McQueen and wife, Nicole and Colt McQueen; and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins that she loved dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Gulfport from 3:30pm until 5:30 pm.  Funeral services will be at 5:30 pm with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
