Chaz Ryan Savoy

Chaz Ryan Savoy, age 32, resident of Picayune, passed away on December 9, 2024. 

He was born in Gretna to Edward Lee Savoy, Jr. and Karen Ann Rodriguez Savoy. Chaz was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy as a child and was determined to live his life to the fullest. From fishing to deer hunting to offshore boating, he did whatever he wanted to do. He was the life of the party and had a great sense of humor. He was always willing to talk smack and get the best of you. He graduated from South Plaquemines High School where he was part of the 2007 and 2008 Class 1A State Champions in Football. The following year, they finished as Runners Up.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Karen Ann Savoy; his grandfathers, Danny Rodriguez and Edward Lee Savoy, Sr.

He is survived by his father, Edward Lee Savoy, Jr. (stepmother, Shawn Savoy); his sister, Jacqueline Munsterman (Randy); his grandmothers, Marcelia Guidry and Tonia Demolle; and his niece, Olivia Munsterman.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian, is serving the family.
