Charlotte Saucier

Charlotte Elberta Hill Saucier, age 82 and a resident of Gulfport, was called by her Heavenly Father, to leave this mortal life, on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Saucier was born on February 21, 1927, in Cripple Creek, CO, to Charles & Elberta Hill. She was raised in Bell Flower, CA. She moved to Mississippi in 1949, after marrying Woodrow Billy Saucier on September 7, 1946.
Charlotte lived in Harrison County most of her life, and was an active and devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Charlotte was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; and taking care of all those she knew and loved, was her greatest pleasure.
Mrs. Saucier is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Janella Hill Haygood.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted husband of 62 years, Woodrow; her sons, Gregory of Gulfport, Stephen (Karen) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and Charles of Gulfport; her daughter, Kathy of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Shelby, Monique, Greg, Jr., Desiree, Seth, Daniel, Heidi, Brandy, Stephen, Jr., Iona, Ulanda, and Kurstan; 19 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces, that loved their Aunt Charlotte.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 12'Noon at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may vist two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses on the 4th floor at Memorial Hospital, especially her nurse, Tammy; her doctors, and the staff at Canon Hospice.
