Charlotte S. Partridge, resident of Pass Christian, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Gulfport Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness.
She was born in Barth, MS, but lived most of her life in Pass Christian. Charlotte was a retired Cosmetologist, who owned the first beauty shop in her community. She was a Charter Member of Diamondhead Baptist Church. Charlotte enjoyed flowers, working in her yard and greenhouse, and spending time with her family and friends. She was very active in her community and church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Chester; her daughter, Ileen Partridge Bruneaux; her parents, John and Nida Slade.
She is survived by her children, Bruce Partridge (Merlene), Carol Partridge, and Kay Kostellic (Terry); her grandchildren, Martha Moraway (Frank), Amy Gibson (Tra), Chip Partridge (Leslie), and Lee Kostellic (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Alyson, Tratyn, and Hailey Grace; her sister, Vondie Lizana (Albert); and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian. A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday from 11:00 am until service time at 2:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Old Delisle Cemetery, Pass Christian.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests and appreciate memorial donations to Jacob's Well Baptist Church: Building Fund, 16880 Kapalama Dr. Pass Christian, MS 39571.
