Kenneth ""Charlie"" Spears was born June 12, 1953 in Long beach MS.
Charlie passed away on October 4th 2012 while vacationing with his wife Pam on St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Charlie attended Long Beach High School and went on to join the Army. He retired from the Army as a SSGT after serving 20 years. He and his wife Pam resided at the time of his passing in Olympia, Washington. He was actively employed by United Parcel Services. Charlie was a lifelong devoted New Orleans Saints fan.
Charlie is survived by his sons, Christopher, of Reno NV; Steven, of Seattle WA; David and wife, stationed in Guam; stepdaughter Cicely Parker,of Olympia WA; stepson Doug Thomas and wife, of Tum Water WA; stepdaughter Sarah Thomas of Seattle WA; his brother Michael Spears And wife Paula, life time residents of Long beach MS; sister Cheryl Spears of Phoenix AZ; and his best friend and wife Pam Spears.
Besides being a loving and supportive father, brother and husband, he was a devoted grandfather of ten grandchildren who all loved and adored him.
Charlie will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Charlie was laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport, MS next to his mother will full military honors on October 9th, 2012.
