Charles """"Chuck"""" A. Thomas, age 58 and a resident of Gulfport, died June 11, 2007 in Gulfport.
Chuck was a native of Meridian, MS. He graduated from Long Beach High School in 1967, and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was the former owner of Chuck's Chevron on Hwy 90 in Long Beach, and the owner of TNT Auto Detailing. His first love was fishing.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Charles J. Thomas Sr. & Josie Mae Thomas.
He is survived by his parents: Charles J. Thomas and Patsy Ruth Thomas of Gulfport, and formerly of Long Beach; son: Charles Matthew Thomas; daughter: Shei Thomas Blaker; brother: Larry Thomas of Long Beach; grandsons: Brody Blaker, Luke Thomas & Jake Thomas, and granddaughters: Demi Blaker & Dallas Blaker.
Friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 15, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at THE RIEMANN FAMILY's Riemann Funeral Homes, 11213 Hwy 49N, Gulfport. Chuck's cremated remains will be released at Cat Island by his family at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39502, or to the charity of one's choice.
