Charles Keegan Stroud, also known to his family and friends as, ""JR,"" ""Bebe,"" and ""Chucky,"" age 14 and a resident of Kiln, died on Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Kiln.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Hancock County. Charles was currently an 8th grade student at Hancock Middle School and was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Kiln. He loved football and was an avid LSU fan.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Brandi Francis Malley.
He is survived by his father, Charlie E. (Amy) Stroud of Kiln; his siblings, Noah Nathan Stroud, Faith Ann Stroud, Michelle Clark, and Kyleigh Feger, all of Kiln; his paternal grandparents, Charles S. (Debra A.) Stroud of Kiln; his aunt, Stacie Stroud (Carlyle) Triche of Hammond, LA; and his uncle, Joshua Nathan Stroud of Kiln.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 12'Noon at Faith Assembly of God, 18701 Highway 43 in Kiln. Family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Go Fund Me / Charlie Stroud Account.
