Charles Simmons

Charles Patrick Simmons, age 71, of D’Iberville, passed away on October 16, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Lillian Simmons.

He is survived by his sister, Laurie (Bruce) Hill; nieces and nephews, Rachel Hill, Phaedra Deer (Shane), Eric Hill (Chelsea), Aubrey Hill (Angela) and Jordan Hill (Amy); several great-nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Simmons was a graduate of Jackson Provine High School and the University of Mississippi with a degree in Music Education.  He served in the U.S. Air Force and was in the Air Force Band.  He worked in various aspects of music recording and audio/video productions along the coast.  He enjoyed spending time with his faithful companions, “Sambo” and “Beau”.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 5 – 7 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, West Jackson County.  The funeral service will be at 10 am on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in the funeral home chapel.   Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Foundation.
