Charles Peterson

Charles O. """"Charlie Brown"""" Peterson, 67, of Gulfport, died Sunday, May 14, 2006 in Gulfport.
Mr. Peterson was a retired electrician and a veteran of the United State Marine Corp. He was a member of the gospel group """"From the Heart"""" and a member of Gateway United Methodist Church. He was a friend to any and all, a very simple man.
Mr. Peteson is preceded in death by his parents,Oliver and Amelia Peterson; sisters, Bernadine Peterson and Martha Ann Chambers and brother in law, Robert Henderson.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mattie Peterson of Gulfport; daughter, Sonya Seals and husband Randy of Saucier; brother, Harold Peterson and wife Debra of Pass Chrisitian; sister, Barbara Henderson of Pass Christian, MS; brother in law, Walter Chambers of Gulfport; great niece, Kasi Habighurst and David of Gulfport; great great niece, Savanna Habighurst; great great nephews, Michael and Christian Habighurst and other numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16, 2006 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Gateway United Methodist Church. Services will be Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior also at the church. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery.
