Charles V. ""Chuck"" Mullins, II, age 47, of Gulfport, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014.
Mr. Mullins was born in Oxnard, CA to Charles V. and Jessie Poindexter Mullins and grew up in Mt. Holly, NC. He graduated from Belmont Abbey in NC and received his Master's degree from USM. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Mason. Chuck's professional life included several positions in the area of Quality Control, and most recently, he was a claims intake specialist for the BP Oil Settlement Program.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jessie Poindexter Mullins.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol J. Mullins of Gulfport; father and stepmother, Charles V. Mullins and Kerry A. Mullins of NC; stepsister, Tina M. Sealey of VA; and stepbrother, Jeffrey A. Snyder of WA; an extended family and his canine companions, Hopper and Boomer.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors rendered by the United States Marine Corps.
