Charles Kirksey, 84, of Saucier, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 in Gulfport.
He retired after many years of service in the United States Coast Guard. He was a member of the VFW. He was an avid flower gardener and he loved to play cards.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Veleda Buckley Kirksey; his daughter, Shawn Kirksey Felty; his three brothers, Ed, Melvin, and Bill Kirksey; his sister, Ruby Kirksey Bohr; and his companion, Buddy, the three legged dog.
He is survived by his sister, Maxine Kirksey Keith; his two grandchildren, Bruce Edward Felty, Jr. and Bonnie Lou Albright; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
