Charles H. Dufour, 68, of Saucier, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 in Gulfport.
Mr. Dufour was a native of Jackson, MS. He graduated from Biloxi High School, then attended MS Gulf Coast Community College. He was inducted in to the U. S. Army on May 4, 1970 and was discharged January 7, 1972 at Ft. Hood Texas as a Specialist 4. He served in the 1st Calvary Division in Vietnam in the infantry.
Mr. Dufour worked at the Port, then went to work at the U.S. Navy Seabee Construction Center in Gulfport. He retired as a Planner and Estimator. He loved music and fast cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Gertrude Dufour; his sister, Patricia Dufour Pizzetta; and his two brothers-in-law, Gene Pizzetta and Lenny Pizzetta.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Victoria Taquino Dufour; his daughter, Sandee Dufour Crosno (Isaac); his two step-sons, Cecil Ray Rhodes and Donald Ray Rhodes; his sister, Margaret "Ann" Dufour Pizzetta; and his grandchildren, Allison and Zachary Crosno, Hailey Hudson and Landon Rhodes.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18th from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME,274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. The procession will leave at 2:00 p.m. for the Graveside Service at 2:30 p.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
