Charles Ray Blackledge, age 74, of Gulfport, passed away on March 30, 2010 in Gulfport.
He was peceded in death by his parents, Marshall C. Blackledge and Rosa Blackledge; his sisters, Betty Faye Blackledge and Ruby Hill; and his brothers, Rothell Blackledge and L.C. Blackledge.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Gladys H. Blackledge of Gulfport; his sisters in law, Mary Blackledge of Gulfport and Katherine Blackledge of Oxford, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He retired from Phillips Building Supply after 54 years of service and was a member of the Gulfport Civitans Club and Woodmen of the World. He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church, Gulfport, where he served as a Deacon.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Grace Memorial Baptist Church, Gulfport, where family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
