Charles Avery

Charles D. Avery, age 47, of Long Beach, passed away on March 22, 2009 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otis Avery, and two brothers, Roger Avery and Anthony Avery.
He is survived by his mother, Grazia Avery, of Long Beach; two children, Sarah Avery of Long Beach and Helen Avery of Ohio; two brothers, Paul Avery and his wife, Sheila, and Dominic Avery, all of Gulfport; and a nephew, Ethan Avery of Gulfport.
He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Long Beach. He was a probation officer with the Mississippi Department of Corrections and enjoyed pool and baseball.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Long Beach, where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
