She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary Sheffey.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Randy Raynor; son Craig (Julia) Raynor; daughter Jaime (Shane) Fordham; son Brian (Lindsay) Raynor; 9 grandchildren, Tyler Raynor, Alison and Jacob Raynor; Benjamin and Natalie Fordham, Elijah, Jordyn and Georgia Raynor and Devyn Hoda; 6 siblings Judy Coll, Mary Villano, Tommy Sheffey, Mike Massaro, Richie Sheffey, and Robbie Sheffey.
Charlene served in the United States Air Force from 1968-1972.  She was stationed at Kessler Air Force Base when hurricane Camille hit the gulf coast in 1969.  She told great stories of riding out in the ambulance during the storm to rescue those that did not evacuate.
For many years, she served as the programs director for the City of Ocean Springs Parks and Recreation Department.  If you played a youth sport in Ocean Springs in the 1980s and 90s, you were one of her kids.  Her door was always open to her kids to lend advice or just listen.
