Charla Holliday Jacobs, age 80, of Gulfport, passed away on August 16, 2009 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. """"Buck"""" Jacobs; two children, William E. Jacobs, Jr and Kimberly Holliday Jacobs; her parents, Lawrence H. Holliday, Jr and Mattie Willie Holliday; and two sisters, Forrest Ellen Holliday Dyer and Mary Elaine Holliday Ware.
She is survived by two brothers, Lawrence W. Holliday, Sr and Hudson Holliday, both of Poplarville; a grandson, Chad Ragon and his wife, Lindi, and great-granddaughter, Linzi Grace Ragon of Northport, Al; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Gulfport. She attended the Poplarville School System and received a BS degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her husband, Buck Jacobs, was a former Mississippi Highway Patrolman and Harrison County Deputy Sheriff.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, where family and friends may visit from Noon until service time. Burial will follow at Evergreen Gardens, Gulfport.
