Chappell Bryant, age 77, of Gulfport, passed away on June 7, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mr. Bryant served in the U.S. Army during WWII and later retired from Civil Service at KAFB. At Keesler, he was a radar instructor before moving into administration. He was an avid reader, a member of the Gideo Society, and attended Bible Fellowship Church in Pass Christian and Trinity Bible Church in Woolmarket.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Bryant, and a son, Michael Bryant, Jr.
Survivors include a son, Gary Bryant, 2 grandchildren, Michael Bryant, Jr., and Melanie Arnold, a daughter-in-law, Kathy Bryant, 1 sister, and other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be at 10 am Friday, June 10, 2011 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit from 9 - 10 am. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
