Cecil Clinton Head

Mr. Cecil Clinton Head, age 71, resident of Saucier, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2010, at home.
Mr. Head was born in Pearl River County to David and Tishie Head. Mr. Cecil worked for the City of Gulfport for 14 years and retired in March of this year. His hobbies were hunting and fishing, and he loved spending time with his grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Tishie Head; sisters, Izella Warden, Cletta Broom, Thelma Landrum, Isabella Leonard; brothers, D.V. Soley and Iva Lee Soley.
He is survived by his sons, Jason Clinton Head and his wife Jenny, Oran Lee Head Thomas and his wife Lacreannia; daughter, Torrie Head Thomas Williams; sisters, Odell Bounds, Lethea Melvin, Vera Helms, and Lovonia Pevey; grandkids, Justin Head, Ashlynn Head, Brad Smiley, Katelyn Smiley, Cody Thomas, Jeremy Rush, Jeremy Thomas Williams, Jamie Williams, and Jenna Williams; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49 North, Gulfport, from 9-11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be at Head Cemetery on Silver Run Road in Poplarville.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to help with Mr. Cecil's medical and funeral expenses.
