Cecelia Mae Whittemore, 80, and a resident of Biloxi, MS since 1960, passed on Friday, August 7, 2009 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister.
She is survived by her five children, Mary Jane Hickman and husband Allen, Earl Clifford II & Mary Whittemore, Thomas Edward Whittemore, Richard & Peggy Whittemore, and Marie Dee Turan; her grandchildren, Angela & Earnest Ulrich, Jennifer Bickel, Dacy & Mark Broussard, Heather & Scott Monroe, Brandy & Earl IV Whittemore, Erick & Briggett Turan, Tonya & Nick Bollmeyer; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was a loving person to the community and all who knew her. She attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Her hobbies included walking, collecting odds & ends, homemaking, and reading mystery novels. She was loved by the community and will be very well missed by us all.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport.
