Cathey Cain

Cathey Brooks Cain, age 60, of Plum Bluff, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. Brooks, Sr. and Gladys Vice Brooks; a daughter, Debbie Brooks; and a step-son, Michael Cain, Jr.
Survivors include her loving husband, Robin Cain; her 2 children, Charles E. Fuqua, Jr. (Deanna) and John W. Fuqua (Elizabeth); step-children, Tracie Cain and Shana Cain; a sister, Kim Thielker (Robert); a brother, John C. "Bo" Brooks, Jr.; her grandchildren, Jack Cooper, Calvin Brooks, Gavin Alexander, Julia Fuqua, Charles E. "Trey" Fuqua, III, Riley Grace Fuqua, Charles Sebert, Morgan Sebert, Haleigh Zirlot, Michael Sebert, Cain Zirlot, Oliver Zirlot, and Savannah Cain; 1 great-grandchild, Amelia Sebert; 2 nephews, Matt Thielker (Erin) and Brett Thielker (Brandi); and other relatives and friends.
Cathey was born and raised in the Helena community and was the owner and operator of C & C Grocery in Helena.  She enjoyed cooking and helping others in the community with her loving and caring spirit.  In her later years, she enjoyed attending her grandchildren's events.  She was full of faith and enjoyed worship and singing.   She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, from 12 pm - 2 pm at the Helena Presbyterian Church.  A funeral service will be at 2 pm in the church.  Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Helena.
