Catherine E. Holley Sambola, 97, of Gulfport, died Friday, February 3, 2006 in Gulfport.
She was a native of Long Beach and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport.
Mrs. Sambola was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Sambola; daughter, Mary Louise Baggett; parents, George and Lavenia Holley; brothers: John, Elmer, Alley, Ellis, and Harry Holley; sisters: Marguerite Lizana and Ethel Fleming.
Survivors include 2 grandchildren: Cheryl A. Baggett Dewey and James E. Baggett; son-in-law, H. Ray Baggett, all of Gulfport; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 pm Monday, February 6, 2006 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where friends may visit from 12 - 2 pm.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
