Mrs. Catherine ""Cathy"" Pribbenow, age 96, of Gulfport, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 11:11 p.m.
Mrs. Pribbenow was born in Moselle, MS, the tenth and last child of John and Mandy King Toomey. She made the Coast her home since 1930. Family gatherings and meals were centered around her cooking. She had an amazing wit, and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joseph Webb; four sisters and five brothers.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Willis ""Bill"" Pribbenow of Gulfport; children, Cathy Curran of Gulfport and Henry Webb (Sandy) of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Cowan Road, Gulfport, at 2:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 505 Cowan Road, Gulfport, MS 39507.
