Catherine Ladner Mauffray

Catherine Ladner Mauffray, age 84, of Long Beach, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011.
Mrs. Mauffray was a long-time resident of Long Beach and attended Riverside Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charleston and Elizabeth Ladner; infant son, Cyril Joseph Mauffray; brother, Vernon Ladner; and sister, Marion Perniciaro. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Stephen Wayne Mauffray, Sr.; 5 children, Pennie Turner, Judy LaFontaine (Al), Stephen Mauffray, Jr. (Vickie), Beverly Collins (Wayne), and Belinda Mate (George); siblings, Charleston ""Junior"" Ladner, Earl ""Pee Wee"" Ladner (Janet), Anita Dorn and Ruth Ladner; 13 grandchildren, Brandi Ladner, Sherri Robbins, Angie Lott, Mendi Roberts, Jody Mauffray, Rachel Slocum, Amanda Smith, Stevye Murray, David Alexander, Daniel Alexander, George Mate, Joey Mate and Jeremy Mate; and 16 great-grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of her heart.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday in the funeral home chapel, followed by burial at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
