Catherine L. Lapeyre, age 57 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Sunday, January 8, 2012, in Gulfport.
She was a native of Houma, LA and had been a resident of Gulfport for the past 14 years.
Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Emile M. Lapeyre, Jr.
She is survived by her mother, Joan S. Lapeyre of Houma; her siblings, Denise L. (David) Blanchard of Mandeville, LA, Mark Lapeyre, Louise Lapeyre, Emile M. (Peggy) Lapeyre, III all of Houma, and Bill Lapeyre of Thibodeaux, LA; one niece, four nephews, one grand niece, and one grand nephew.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at 2:00pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 111280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
