Catherine C. Taylor Johnson, born May 21, 1924 in Gulfport, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Gulfport, and worked at the garment factory in Pass Christian for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Johnson; parents, Charles and Sylvia Taylor; brother, Joseph """"Goat"""" Taylor; sisters, Winnie B. Taylor, Carrie Taylor, and Mary H. Taylor; daughter, Mary Catherine Richardson; son, Charles E. """"Popeye"""" Albert.
She is survived by her son, Joseph R. Albert; daughters, Betty Jo Ramsey and Sylvia Hurst; sisters, Marie Taylor Robinson, and Dorothy Taylor McQuillen; she was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2008, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport from 12-2 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow services at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
