Catherine V. Faye, age 75 and a resident of Pass Christian, died on Thursday, July 19, 2012, in Gulfport.
She was a native and lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and was a member of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Faye loved playing bingo, going to the Casino's and watching Wheel of Fortune on television.
Mrs. Faye was preceded in death by her father, Aaron Peterson and her mother, Bertha C. (Agnel) Ladner.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Alton H. Faye of Pass Christian; her sons, J.E. (Nelda) Ladner of Silver Run, Alton Jody (Kimberly) Faye of Kiln, Aaron Ike (Crystal) Faye of Pass Christian, and Chanlie M. (Patricia) Faye of Dedeaux; her sister, Mae (Gaston ""JR"") Ory of Dedeaux; her former daughter-in-law, Kathie Allen of Pass Christian; eight grandchildren, Breezy, Glory, Etha, Katie, Fallon, Jeremy, Amber, and Andrea and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 23, 2012, at 11:00am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
