Catherine "Cathy" Sue King

Catherine “Cathy or MiMi” King, 70 of Wiggins passed away on August 4, 2024 at the Stone County Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 5, 1954 to the late Signal C & Ethlene Gortman. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Krystal King, and Marcie King; and 7 siblings.

Cathy enjoyed being with her family and friends. She loved playing her computer games and watching “Days of Our Lives” on TV. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Family was the most important thing to her, and always giving a lending hand to those in need. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Cathy is survived by her daughter, Melissa King of Gulfport; and sister, Shirley Brantly of Florida. Cathy also leaves behind to cherish her memory 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
