Carver ""Foots"" Spiers, age 71 and a resident of Kiln, died on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in Gulfport.
Mr. Spiers was a native and lifelong resident of Hancock County and was a welder for 55 years. He was a loving father, brother, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin & Bertha Ladner Spiers; his wife, Aloyse Prince Spiers; his brothers, Jack Spiers and Marlin Spiers; his sister, Lovie Mae Lee and a great grandchild, Dakota Spiers.
Mr. Spiers is survived by his daughters, Roxanne (Bullet) Williams and Robin (David) Spiers all of Kiln; his sons, Brian Spiers of Kiln, Tink (Lori) McQueen of Picayune, Marlin (Debbie) McQueen of Necaise Crossing, and Kevin (Janice) McQueen of Picayune; his sisters, Letsy Necaise of Pass Christian, and Julia Ann (Bryant) Gilmore of Necaise Crossing; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012, at 3:00pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Necaise Crossing Cemetery.
