Carrie Mae Pippin

Carrie Mae Pippin, age 91, of Gulfport, passed away on July 10, 2012 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Pippin, Sr.; her son, Henry ""Curt"" Pippin, Jr.; and her parents, O.B. ""Mid"" and Mary Lou Davis.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Pippin; her grandson, Henry C. Pippin, III, both of Gulfport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born in Wesson, MS, and having lived in Jackson and Laurel in her earlier years, Mrs. Pippin has been a resident of Gulfport since 1962. She and her husband, Henry, were owners of Abbey Commercial Printers in Gulfport for fifteen years and at her retirement, Abbey Printing was purchased by Knight Printing, hence the present name of Knight Abbey Printing of Biloxi.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gulfport where she so devotedly served her Lord through the Seekers Sunday School Class, senior adult choir, mission work, and working with the youth department.
Mrs. Pippin will forever be remembered for her love and sweet and caring spirit for family and friends. Her special interests included needlepoint, cooking, and her love for flowers and gardening.
The family especially gives gratitude to Dr. Thomas Blanks and the staff of Lakeview Nursing Facility for their tender loving care.
We had her for 91 years and now our Heavenly Father has her for eternity.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2012 from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
