Carolyn Reeves

Linda Carolyn Reeves, age 75, of Gulfport, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020.

Carolyn was retired and enjoyed quilting, traveling, and making candy with family and friends. She was the glue of her family. She hosted family gatherings and took care of her family and friends anytime they needed help. She loved her family and her family loved her dearly. Carolyn will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Eula Mae (Moran) Garriga; two sisters, Jeanette Garriga and Earlyne Malley; as well as one brother, Laverne Garriga.

She is survived by two sisters, Yvonne Spiers (Hollis) and Jean Cuevas (John); along with nephews, nieces, and special friends Jack Lee and Margie Dedeaux.

In lieu of flowers, she has requested that donations be made to help the less fortunate.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 29, 2020, at 2:00pm, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport, with the visitation from 1:00 pm -2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Alphonse-Malley Cemetery.
